AGRI & ENERGY: geothermal energy for sustainable agriculture and clean power generation – Canada

The project is a two-phase endeavour with the first phase focusing on geothermal energy for year-round strawberry cultivation in a 20-acre greenhouse. The facility will benefit from up to 50 gigajoules of heat per hour. The second phase involves enhanced geothermal reservoir recovery system (EGRRS) to produce 10MW of zero-emission electricity. EGRRS focuses on repurposing depleted oil and gas production assets like existing wellbores, pipelines and reservoirs.
