Are you a net zero innovator? Get involved in the CETPartnership — a €210 million transnational Research, Technological Development and Innovation funding programme designed to boost and accelerate energy transition in Europe by 2050.
About the challenge
The CETP programme is a transformative Research, Technological Development and Innovation (RTDI) program, designed to accelerate clean energy transition through annual funding calls.
It’s an international collaboration involving 32 countries and over 50 funding agencies, supported through the Horizon Europe R&I programme.
Our organisation is leading and delivering the programme on behalf of Scottish Government, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and South of Scotland Enterprise.
Scotland’s role in the CETPartnership
We’re supporting research and innovation in five of the CETP’s main Transition Initiatives (TRIs):
- TRI 2: Zero emissions power technologies – break-through, offshore
- TRI 3: Storage technologies, renewable fuels (including hydrogen) and CCU/CCS
- TRI 4: Heating and cooling
- TRI 6: Industrial energy systems
- TRI 7: Built environment
