The Policy and Innovation Group at the University of Edinburgh were commissioned by Scottish Enterprise and Wave Energy Scotland to carry out research into the tidal stream and wave energy sectors in Scotland respectively. The reports outline the potential benefits, in terms of GVA and jobs supported. It also considers supply chain competitiveness and volume capability required to realise these benefits.
