Angus – SECAP
The Angus Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP) provides a roadmap demonstrating how Angus can reduce its carbon emissions and increase the resilience of the region, whilst at the same time positioning itself to capitalise on the significant economic opportunities offered by a low carbon economy.
To achieve this, the SECAP lists actions and objectives across the following key partners working across Angus to reduce emissions in the following sectors:
- Buildings
- Energy
- Transport
- Land use & forestry
- Agriculture and food
- Waste
- Governance and Process
A SECAP Steering Group has been created with the purpose to ensure actions are carried out across Angus to deliver emissions reductions across various sectors including within communities, businesses, domestic and non-domestic buildings.
The SECAP steering group will bring together key partners who are listed in the plan and provides a platform of collaboration for existing and future actions.
